Romance: Lestat falls in love very easily, but it takes a certain set of circumstances for him to be serious about it. All Anne Rice vampires exist in a polysexual & polyamorous voidspace, so he can be besotted with mutltiple people on the go. However, Louis is here and Louis is his hyperfixation.. so it might be more difficult to distract him than usual.

Sex: Lestat is dead, you freak. (He can bang under the right circumstances, but it would need plot. If you'd like him to drink from you and it be a bit horny, though, let me know!)

Fighting: He's not particularly interested in physical violence, but he's capable. I'd prefer to discuss any fights beforehand.

Injury: Sure.

Death: Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I'm fine with him dying (again) though as long as there is no perma-death. Let's talk about it.

Physical & Mental manipulation: Lestat has pretty powerful mental fortitude; his thoughts aren't usually on broadcast and he keeps his cards very close to his chest. That said, if your character is particularly powerful, or has an ability to sense spirits, Lestat does have a few skeletons in his closet we could discuss. I'm not above handwaving how powerful his mental shields are for the sake of something fun.

☄ general info ♔ CHARACTER: lestat de lioncourt ♔ SERIES: the vampire chronicles ♔ PULL POINT: post QotD. (if you'd like a different pull point or human lestat for a PSL, let me know!) ♔ AGE: 200+, physically 20. ♔ BIRTHDAY: november 7, 1760 ♔ HEIGHT/BUILD: lestat is 6" and fairly athletic but does not have much body fat, so he's quite slim. he didn't have a great diet while he was alive, but he was very active and a little vain, even then. ♔ LANGUAGE: lestat is french, and speaks french and english fluently. ☄ first impressions ♔ VISUAL: lestat is a tall, and exceedingly handsome man with a head of luscious blonde curls and gray eyes that reflect violet and blue tones from the world around him. his hands are fine and quick, and his nails appear to be made from glass; shining and sharp. he is often smiling a smile that is a little too big for his face, sometimes with the threat of two sharp fangs, and he walks with a slightly too quick, confident gait. he is quite alluring, too, especially to humans, as he seems to them quite ethereal in appearance. for images, please see VISUALS and INSPO ♔ NOTABLE FEATURES: his skin is very pale, almost marble white, very smooth and icy cold to the touch. he has fangs that he cannot retract but they are quite small and easy to miss. ♔ FASHION: one of lestat's greatest loves is fashion. he loves silk shirts and wool trousers, designer items, full suits, and casual dress. he also had a brief period as a rock star in the 80s and still has a soft spot for the fashion. he is always wearing a number of gold and silver rings. see HERE for pictures of outfits lestat might be wearing at any given time. ♔ DEMEANOUR: lestat is a loud, bold and defiant guy who makes it his mission to catch every eye in the room. but he is an aristocrat, so sometimes he can come across a bit extravagant and conceited. he's also a flirt and isn't above using his natural charisma to get what he wants. lestat can also be strangely endearing - because he's a vampire he's often enticed by mundane mortal things and will gaze lovingly at them as if in a trance. he also loves dogs. a lot. ♔ AURAL: lestat has a french accent that he himself says sounds like a purr. his english has a very slight american accent, but it's not hard to tell he's european first. ♔ OLFACTORY: lestat smells expensive; he likes fancy cologne. notes of flowers and ozone, mandarin and incense. ♔ MENTAL INFORMATION: lestat has a very strong mental shield, so it would be quite difficult for anyone to scan his mind unless he was to allow it. if for some reason they could see into his head, lestat is constantly thinking of the kill; he doesn't need to feed every night, but he enjoys doing it and is almost always plotting out his next victim. ♔ MAGICAL INFORMATION: the first thing magical beings may pick up from lestat is that he is undead. he has a pulse and he bleeds when cut, but he is a creature of the night that heals quickly with preternatural abilities, and whom must feed on humans in order to survive. his aura would not be a good colour. ☄ OOC ♔ BACKTAGGING: i love backtagging, yes please. ♔ FOURTHWALLING: yes; the vampire chronicles books, movies, TV show and musical all exist inside their own universe. lestat will be delighted that you've heard of him. ♔ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: lestat loves it. he's not particularly picky, either. ♔ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: lestat is one of the strongest vampires in the world, so i can't recommend it, but sure! why not! ♔ RELATIONSHIPS: OTA, lestat falls in love waaay too easy. for canon mates, i ship lestat with louis(!), nicki, armand & david. cross-canon, everything's fair game. lestat is panromantic/sexual depending on interpretation. ♔ SEX: being a vampire his junk canonly doesn't work, but i don't mind handwaving - i like the headcanon that he has to feed a lot to make anything function, as well as the headcanon that the elder blood lestat drinks makes it possible for him to bang. my favourite interpretation of vampire sex is that everything is emotional connection and physical petting with blood drinking being the final O, so to speak. ☄ ABILITIES ♔ VAMPIRE POWERS: □ Telepathy & Mesmerism - Lestat can read the mind of most humans and other supernatural creatures too, unless they are consciously blocking him out with psychic defences. He can use this ability to communicate non-verbally and also to influence humans into doing what he wants them to - putting them in a vampire thrall - though he rarely feels the need to do this. □ Immortality - Lestat will never die, never age and will never look anything unlike he does now; if his hair is cut or his nails broken, these seem to "reset" when he rises from sleep. □ Rapid Healing - If Lestat is scratched/bitten/wounded he heals remarkably fast without scarring or bruising. If Lestat is lethally wounded - his throat cut, any body parts severed - as long as he has a supply of living blood he can heal/reattach eventually. Lestat can also use his vampiric blood to heal human injuries as long as the blood can make contact; he can't heal brain damage or broken bones but he can cover his bite marks and prevent bleed outs. □ Fledglings - Lestat can bring humans into the Dark Gift with him and turn them into vampires by draining the victim of blood and sharing his own blood with them at the moment before death. Lestat has a lot of hang-ups about not doing this without express permission from the person in question and usually only does it to people he cares deeply for. Obviously this would only be done with permission from players and mods if it did ever come up. □ Physical Abilities - Lestat is much faster, stronger and quieter than a regular human man; he can climb walls and ceilings and jump from them without harm; he can conceal his footsteps in order to go undetected; he can break concrete and iron and crush a human skull with very little effort, and he can move his limbs so fast that to the human eye it often goes unseen. □ Elder Blood: From his pull-point he has recently shared blood with the Queen of the Damned, Akasha, who was one of the first vampires with incredibly strong powers. Through sharing her blood, Lestat has taken on some of her ability. - Lestat can fly with pure intention of will. All he has to do is think about flying and he can lift into the air. He often utilizes this skill to take him across the globe to different countries. - Lestat can allow his 'soul' to leave his body and float above it as though a spirit. - Lestat's skin is closer to marble than the typical pale skin of a vampire. He doesn't have as much texture to his skin, and he is painfully cold to the touch; difficult to do so for extended periods of time for mortals. - All his typical vampire powers are heightened; he can hear at greater distances and in greater detail, he can close his own mind to much stronger influences and is capable of pyrokinesis.
