Maleficent's figure dissolves into a floating music note, then breaks apart entirely under the force of his shove. The music stops abruptly, leaving the puddles to lay where they fall; the idea that he should probably be concerned about Lestat feels kind of..... backwards, to be honest? But to be fair, it is kiiiiiind of his fault, too. Sort of. Maybe.
Too bad he's no more sure about what he did wrong than how to help fix it. Nobody could possibly mistake a water clone for the real thing, right? So what's even the problem? Lestat has no possible reason to be upset over just a little visual aid. They may as well have been listening to a CD while playing pretend with dolls, for Light's sake.]
